MENTORING PROGRAM
Due to COVID-19 resctrictions our masterclass with George Benjamin goes online.
We would like to thank all the young conductors and composers who applied to our masterclass with George Benjamin in record numbers! Today we are forced to announce that the masterclass will be cancelled due to the current COVID-19 regulations. Yesterday we notified all applicants first. And those who were selected as active participants, could be active during another workshop of their choice in the future.
As our concert on 9 October is part of the CAFe Budapest Festival, it will happen at the safe concert hall of Budapest Music Center with modifications, we will come with details soon. The new pieces of our mentored composers will be premiered, too.Our mentees can follow the rehearsals so at least for them the masterclass will be organised in some form.
As for now the application is still open for our November masterclass with Olga Neuwirth but with a COVID-19 update and there may be changes in the organisation as the pandemic situation evolves. The Mentoring Program application is still open with an online audition in December and we are working on next year's program, and changes may apply if necessary. Our top priority is the safety of our participants and mentees; meanwhile we are trying to find ways of still sharing knowledge and mentoring in this special environment.
