The program of the Peter Eötvös Contemporary Music Foundation is focusing on opera and vocal composing this year that is why our first public meeting guest is Peter Eötvös and for this special occasion we can welcome a great French opera composer, Pascal Dusapin. We can enjoy some sequences from his opera Penthesileia and there will be live music also: Beckett’s Bones, a trio for soprano, piano and clarinet. A unique artist, Pascal Dusapin continues his musical journey, formal and yet never dogmatic, offering his fiercely emotional music through a great range of diverse forms.

The talks will be held in English.
